Actual Real, True, Genuine News Item: 30/12/2020 The Oxford Vaccine received approval for use in the UK today. Hurrah for the people who know what they are doing.

Joke of the year 2020. A giraffe was chatting with a zebra recently in Chester zoo. The giraffe asked "are you white with black stripes or black with white stripes?" The zebra replied "I've no idea. Who would know a thing like that?". The giraffe said that only God would know. That night the zebra prayed before he went to sleep. He asked God to let him know the answer to his identity. God appeared in a dream and told the zebra "you are what you are". The next day the giraffe sees the zebra and asks if God gave him an answer. "Oh yes" said the zebra, "God said 'you are what you are', so I'm white with black stripes". Puzzled, the giraffe asked for an explanation. "Well" said the zebra "if I was black with white stripes he would have said 'you is what you is'".

Now the sport: 2020 Football: Dirty Leeds: Got promoted to the Premier league. They were the outstanding best team in the Championship last season. We'll all be shouting for Leeds whenever they play Man United. Stoke: Knocking on the door of the Championship play-off places. Not scoring enough. One fumbled goal in three games won't cut it. Port Vale: After years of mis-management, Vale are mid-table in League Two, a whole division below Crewe. They really should let the fans back in the stadium, because they could easily get 2 metres between all 30 of them.
