The Editor would like to apologise for re-using last week's colour. He enjoyed the colour so much he chose it again. He has, however, promised not to do it again.
Website of the Week!
www.multimap.com Great site for finding your way around. Includes handy information for Leeds United Fans this week.
News:
10 New Countries in EU:
This is of course great news. Most of these 10 have English as their second language. So the next time you check in a London hotel the receptionist may actually understand you.

Radio Gone:
At long last, there is now no reason what-so-ever to tune in to BBC Radio 1. Mark and Lard have finally been dumped from the afternoon show. For years I've wondered what they were doing there being, as they were, actually entertaining. Don't ask me where they've gone to though, I've no idea.
Peacetime Update:
Less peaceful every week if you ask me. Much Hoo-Har about mistreatment of Iraqi POW's by American and British troops. Why did anyone take a photograph?

Joke of the Week:
A Senior Moment

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house and, after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two elderly gentlemen were talking, and one says: "Last night we went out to a new restaurant, and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly. " The other man says: "What's the name of the restaurant?" The first man knits his brow in obvious concentration, and finally says to his companion: " Aahh, what is the name of that red flower you give to someone you love?" His friend replies: " A carnation?" "No, no. The other one," the man says. His friend offers another suggestion: "The poppy?" "Nahhhh," growls the man. "You know -the one that is red and has thorns." His friend says: "Do you mean a rose?" "Yes! Thank you!" the first man says. He then turns toward the kitchen and yells: "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?"

It's a bank Holiday weekend. I expect rain, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Travel News
